This week saw the last few students go through their screenings and biomechanical analysis. Most of the players have just started a new phase of strength and conditioning training, and everybody has improved since autumn’s tests. As usual Friday tend to fly by at SSoG and today was no different. Most of us had time for; golf training, cookery, meeting with Sofia, S&C session, and a meeting with Martin (VW golf arenas' VD).
At the meeting today Sofia informed the students about a number of exciting things that are going to happen in the future, including news about World University Golf Championships in the Czech Republic.
S&C training today including (for those that wanted to) the SSoG unofficial fitness test, it’s a tough combination of training that takes between 20-40 minutes to complete, everybody put 110% effort in to this (see the pictures below to get an idea) though a special mention should go to Philip and Markus.
Well done everybody :-)

Sunday was our last day in Scotland, after a more relaxing Saturday where some students played another 18 holes, Caddied for our guests, or took a walk around St Andrews, It was time to get back to some serious golf again. As you can see by the photos light tried to hinder our training! The final 18 on the Torrance course involved two competitions. Firstly a stroke play, Boys Vs. Girls, where Julia and Lisa's -4 & -2 respectively helped the girls win. Secondly a competition designed to test their new found 'linx' golf shots where the total distance from the whoel was used as a performance measurement, Emil Othberg won by approximately 5 meters over Fredrik Lindgren. WE have had a great time and would like to thank everybody who has been involved including: Jason King at the Fairmont Hotel; Debby Sergant and the players at St Andrews University; Dean Robertson and Raleigh Gowrie at Stirling University; The Swedish Golf Federation; and last but no means least the SSoG players.
